I will start the topic with an example not to be followed.

Years ago I got the advise to meditate in a candle flame.
So I put a candle on the table and started to enjoy the flame.
It was so amazing and beautiful in the same time,
I sit restfully in my enjoyment
as the Zen buddhist said: are you in a hurry, go to sit down.
So I had not any hurry,
also not when my table get fired.
No the house is not fired down, for I could stop fireing.
From that time I never use a wooden candle-bracket, but metal.

Anybody else some nice experiences?

Years ago I bought a free standing wood/coal burning stove. Someone I knew was selling canel or fireplace coal, so I bought a truck load. I was going to sit back and meditate on the fossil remains of plants and animals, millions of years old, releasing their trapped essence in a form of pyro psychometry into my living room. Unaccustomed with burning coal and inexperienced with this variety of coal, ( I always find out the hard way) it throws a flame 2 feet high and releases 20,000 btu's per lb. I filled the firebox (about 40 lbs) and lit it. In about 10 minutes all the coal was burning simultaneously, it sounded like a freight train was roaring through the house. I went outside and looked up at the chimney(40 ft.) and saw a 10 ft flame ,like a roman candle shooting into the sky. It looked like an Apollo Rocket that some maniac fired upside down. I ran into the house and yelled into the deafening sucking sound, evacuate the house. I soon realized that I had unleashed a million year old primordial monster that was trying to get out of the fire box and consume me, everything and everybody in the neighborhood. I closed all the air dampers in an attempt to smother it out, but the fire breathing monster took on a life of it's own and would not die. My peaceful meditation turned into a fight to the death with a prehistoric elemental nightmare. Finally it groaned and gasped and then... BOOM... it lifted a foot off the floor, disconnecting the exhaust pipe from the chimney, covering the entire living room and myself with gritty black soot.

I have to say I'm a bit of a pyro. I like to watch the flames "dance". Whether it is a simple candle or a huge bonfire. The light from the fire, warm and inviting. It is always beautiful and somewhat relaxing to me.

How different the eyes see from the camera. Camera show purple and I don't see any violet in this flame as wel as in the insence stick.

I see all warmth vibrations walking in and out the flame of light.
Beautiful

A nice advice from me now.

Put off your tv or monitor
Place a candle for it , with tv or monitor as background.
In a metal candle -bracket of course and from a safe distance from your tv or monitor.

Light the fire

and go to sit restfully back from all in a restful chair.

Don't close your eyes, but look in the flame

and don't go to tell me you only see a flame and black behind
but tell me what you real see.

Realy it is amazing, the rays and finer rays and much more
