Seven Races?

I thought Theosophy taught there are seven, sequential "races" evolving and we are mostly currently completing number five. However, new member letter #10 claims HPB states "seven groups of humans are evolving simultaneously on seven different portions of the earth." I can accept the first concept, but am more than a little unclear on the second. What am I missing here?? Continue

Is enlightened spirituality to be found at a higher or lower vibration?

Is our enlightened spirituality to be found primarily at a higher or lower vibration? It seems we focus on the latter with Gong Baths, Deep Breathing, Meditation, Chanting (OM), etc. but I believe we generally consider the higher spirituality of the astral plane, auras, spirits, souls, monads, etc. to be at higher vibrations.
