occult can simple mean something which is imperceptible because it has been obscured by something else. a star goes into occultation when another object (such as a planet) blocks it's light from our view.

The travels are going... frosty! brrr! ^_^ Definitely *not* New Orleans, lol...
oh, I have some fun photos that I just added to my profile, if you're curious. The style is rather... unique! (This is one of the things that I do to keep busy since I can't work in Canada- personal seamstressing)
The style is from Japan, called "sweet/dolly Loli", and the aim is to look like a porcelain doll.
