About Me:
First, I'm a wife to Stephen and mother to Joshua and Jesse. I'm a professional artist (painter) who has recently discovered that 'craft' IS Fine Art afterall and am now a student of several ancient craft forms. I'm a relentless student of cultural anthropology (B.A. in Anthropology) with special interest in belief systems. I have an MBA and used to work as a consultant to airports. I have been a member of the TSA and my local group the Charlotte Theosophical Society ('CTS') for about five years and have served as a CTS officer for the same period. I am currently serving as Treasurer.
I'm a devoted pet lover with a boxer and a yellow, green-eyed cat.
Finally, and least importantly, I am temporarily disabled with Interstitial Cystitus, Chronic Fatigue and Fiber Myalgia. These disorders struck me like a bolt of lightening December 1999 eventually requiring me to quit work in 2002.
Above all else, know this, I cannot spell! Please forgive me any glaring errors:-)

There have been a couple groups in Asheville, but they have floundered. Which is suprising to me, in Asheville. The members of the most rescent group are scattered, but I don't think an Asheville group in undoable by any means. If you are looking for a contact point in Asheville, I'd be happy to meet up with you at any point. If you are looking for spiritual goings-on in general, the Mountain Express has an amazing list of clubs and activities that is ongoing. (manofsands@charter.net)
