Jim, The truck repair guy called while I WAS TALKING TO bRIAN and I missed him. I m sure it is not good news. I will probally have ro do as u suggested. Betty said the same thing. I have so much tied up in that truck and it still doesn'r run and breaks constantly. This is going to ruin me for years. I will probablly have 2 sell my trailer and try to get a car to drive in amd move in with my daughter in Cooper city Fl.

Brian suggested you take a cab to Hertz car rental, get the cheapest car and drive home. It's about the only thing you can do. Other than that, contact Olcott and explain how desperate you are. It might be best to abandon the truck and some of its contents. You have tough decisions to make. Good luck.

This is disturbing to hear. Brian asked me for $100 for gas to drive up to you in Indiana. Then Sunday he said he spoke to you and you agreed to rent a cheap car instead and drive back to GA because it would be cheaper than paying him back. I thought everything was ok since then. I just called Brian and am waiting for him to return the call. I'll get back to you when I hear from him.

Despite rumors to the contrary, I am not dead. I have a lecture to deliver next week which I've been working on. Also, I got a pretty good-sized job which will take another two weeks to complete. You know, I think, that I lead two classes at the lodge: one on Sunday, the other Wednesday night. To be honest, both subjects are new to me. I learn both of them the week before and I have to be on top of both. How's the truck? I hope those mechanics didn't charge you. It sounded like their mistake. Is your Mardi Gras over? It sounded like you were having a lot of fun.
