I just wanted to ask you if you are a member of the Norwegian Section of the Theosophical Society?
I work at the headquarters of the American Section as Member Services coordinator and occasionally as a speaker. However, next year, perhaps July, I will be moving to Norway, so I am thinking of getting involved in the Norwegian Section if I can.
I advance over the Path of the Leader of the Lion,
By the Power of the Daughter of the Flaming Sword.
About me the Lions are roaring for their prey;
But I am Sekhet, of the Flaming Eyes.
Turned is my face to the left,
And the Priestess of the Silver Star is my guide.
Now am I come forth upon the Path of the Lion,
And my thought in the Place of the gathering of the Waters.
I am the Established one in Dath!
In me is the Knowledge of Good and of Evil!
In me is the Knowledge of the Light Supernal!
And my face is turned downward unto Malkuth.
Sounds like you've had a fascinating life. I've always been drawn to the paranormal. At a very young age I was reading books on ghosts and paranormal phenomena and trying to conduct seances.
I love music and think it's a wonderful connection to other dimensions of being and the universe.
I'm also a fan of the movies Matrix and The Lord of the Ring. They encapsulate so many interesting ideas.
Welcome.
Joanne
I read it in highschool, but it must not have stuck with me. The prose is quite good. The imagery haunting, and one can find in it all the source of the 21 century gothic ambiance.
I can relate to much of what you are saying. I knew some unexplained things from very early ages; and began to experience more before & after puberty. I learned early to be careful of what I shared, though being honest in a Christian society should have been sufficient. Well, many in any society are hung up on their day to day issues, and don't spend enough time going deeply into whatever they profess. In looking back, I was theosophical from the beginning. And there wasn't anything wrong with the essence of the Christian part, but with what many have done to that with the dogmatic/biased/insecure overtones that they have acted on.
Welcome to another interesting member.
