Profile Information

About Me:
Hello all!...Well a little about myself. hmm?...Well I am 35 y.o. and now live in a suburb of Atlanta. I grew up in a family that promoted open ideas and encouraged individuality. I grew up exposed to many religious viewpoints and early on was taken to the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship my father was a member of the Swedenborgian Fellowship. I also was influenced by the many faiths extended family members who were and are Pagan, Christian, Morman, Muslim, Traditional Native American, Reform Jewish. So as you can see with that upbringing I would either grow up confused or become a Theosophist,,,or mabey both...Im not sure yet :-)
I have for several years acted in the capasity of Program Director for the Atlanta Lodge of The Theosophical Society and have previously held other elected positions both locally and regionally. I have been a member of The Theosophical Society in America since 2003. However my study of theosophy goes back officially 11 year but as is true with many of theosophists I have met I was exposed the theosophical ideas even prior to that without even knowing it. I even early on in my study found that one of my ancestors was a member of The Theosophical Society early in its history. This just made me more curious. My journey although at times steep and thorny has been made better with the addition and the active role that Theosophical ideas now play in my life.

HI Brian,
I have been to the Atl lodge once or twice, came a few years back with a group of UU's to see John give a talk. Have been friends with the Algeos for a long time. Unfortunately I live in gainesville and am very dedicated to coaching baseball, so most of my Sundays are shot. It is nice to knwo you ae just down the riad in Buford, I think there is another member in Gainesville as well. Maybe we can get together somethime.

Hi Brian! Thanks for the comment. Yeah, I'd be interested to know more about what goes on in the Atlanta Lodge, but unfortunately I think it's too far me for me to drive every week. I would definitely like to know more about it though. Do you have MSN messenger, AIM, or Skype?
