Profile Information

About Me:
Former Member of the Theosophical Society, Bachelor of Arts/Professional Studies, emphasis Business/Telecommunications from Barry University, GDA 3.5, Age 63, Retired from AT&T 35 years as a Communications Technician and Marketing Executive. Likes all the Arts, Spiritual Studies. Raised Catholic, studied western and eastern religions, currently consider myself a Chirstian/Buddhist, however I am first and foremost, meaning fundamentally a Christian. My views are ubiquitous with regard to the aspect of inner Spiritual Realization, meaning the internal work necessary for an individual to become whole or realized in Truth does not necessarily require that they be Christian or any other faith, in fact it is not possible to judge others when it comes to individual realization. This is a very brief synopsis regarding my spiritual or religious beliefs.
Religious/Spiritual Path:
Christain/Buddhist
Aspects of Theosophy I am most interested in:
All Aspects of Theosophy
Favorites (books, music, movies, etc.):
Ubiquitous in taste in all artistic expression.
Goals:
To find a fellowship where complete freedom of expression, and acceptance of such is the norm in promoting the goal of a greater understanding with regard to the human condition. Moreover to express or facilitate this understanding so that others may come to personally realize the inherent divinity within each human heart and to facilitate that realization within one's own lifetime.
Role Model(s):
The Teachings of Jesus Christ, Buddha, Mahatma Gandhi, J. Krishnamurti,Kahil Gibran, Sigmund Freud, Carl Jung, George I. Gurdjieff, Maharaji (Prem Rawat), Baghavan Adi Da Samraj, Vernon Howard, Guy Finley.

>"..the internal work necessary for an individual to become whole or realized in Truth does not necessarily require that they be Christian or any other faith"---Exactly!!☺ That is precisely what makes Theosophy unique!!☺ Welcome to our TC (Theosophical Community), Bernard!!☺ Thanks a lot for sharing some of your interests with us. I noticed you said you used to be a member of The-TS (Theosophical Society), was that long ago?
I share your 'Goals'. It is very interesting what you wrote: "To find a fellowship where complete freedom of expression, and acceptance of such is the norm in promoting the goal of a greater understanding with regard to the human condition."--I believe one may find this in Theosophy,too, once we meet the right mental, emotional and spiritual energy compatible to our own-☺. Once again, welcome!!☺ Enjoy the adventure here in the Community and have fun meeting other like-minded spiritual persons world-wide!!☺ Nice to meet you!!☺
