Esoteric Christianity is a wonderful book. I had presented it to one parish priest in Roman Catholic Church. He had studied Theology and philosophy for many decades. He had not studied Theosophy earlier and I wanted to know his opinion about the book. After reading this book Esoteric Christianity, the priest said "The author (Annie Besant) is obviously a theologian, a prodigy!"

Namaste Anand Ji,

I thank Karma for giving me the great opportunity to contact you Sr.
I came across your marvelous web site quite a while ago, and I felt the greatest respect for the person who had created it. I humbly thank you for the great service to make available this vast collection theosophical literature for those like me that keep inquiring and seeking for the Truth. I have kept is as one of my most helpful sources of studies.

Through your web site I found one of the books I always wanted to consult by C.W. Leadbeater: “The Hidden Side of Things”. This is a great book for all the students of Theosophy, whom always wonder and full heartily live a theosophical life outwardly and inwardly each and every day. I’m very inspired by your devotion and respect for Dr. Annie Besant’s and C.W. Leadbeater’s work. I’m also thankful and honored for your invitation to be part of your study group of their writings. Can you please give me more information about how this group works?

As you probably have seen in my page I’m a Montessori teacher. While taking my Montessori training I had to do some researches about Maria Montessori’s life, and I came to know that, she met Annie Besant in London in 1907. She attended to one of her lectures in which Dr. Besant talked with admiration and glowing terms about the then very new Montessori Method. After this event Annie Besant and Maria Montessori formed a very special friendship. And here is what I would like to ask you, if by any chance you happen to have some information about this relationship in between these amazing women, please share it with me. I will really appreciate it.
As you probably know, years later Maria Montessori was invited by The Theosophical Society to India; journey of almost seven years of Maria Montessori’s life. In this period were written her most serious and profound literature, that part of it as you probably know still been part of Adyar Library, within the fundamental books about children.

If you have any information about it please contact me.

May the Masters Bless you with Love,

Sincerely,

Ms. Danelys

Dearest Sister Janeth,

The post was intended for the discussion on "Masters & The Path" & the quote is para 123 of this book by CWL. There appears to be some cross posting. My apologies; all the same, the lesson is still pertinent.
Greetings of Love & Light -Kailash

Respected brother Jill, all brothers & sisters, Let the great messages of elders not stay as a knowledge but transform into wisdom.

"123. True Occultism or Theosophy is the great renunciation of self unconditionally and absolutely, in thought as in action.......
......It is only when the power of the passions is dead altogether, and when they have been crushed and annihilated in the retort of an unflinching will; when not only all the lusts and longings of the flesh are dead, but also the recognition of the personal self is killed out and the astral has been reduced in consequence to a cipher, that the union with the Higher Self can take place."
Greetings of Love & Light -Kailash

The book that fascinated me personally to a very deep degree is MAN, WHERE,WHENCE AND WHITHER. I have bought it of amazon from an estate of on old theosophist from Massachusetts, so the book had all the margin markings that the person did when he/she had that book. It's a very old edition, i think one of the first.

What I found most interestingis the description of the migration of the monads from the Moon to the Earth. I have read in the Roscicrucian Cosmo-Conseption by Max Heindel that the more moons the planet has in the Solar system the more laggards it has. That means that our wave of evolution has been somewhat slow and that we in fact is the laggards from a previous wave of evolution. Does anyone have the same prospective or am I totally off. Would love to have a discussion about it.
