I invite everyone to answer the question

I see theosophy as our human attempt to reconcile science and religion.
Science is a great word that tries to explain reality, its origin, and evolution

What do you think?

I feel theosophy is not about doctrines, religion, or anything like that. I believe it is more about mastery in life. I heard compassion, the art of living, and FREEDOM. heh Brilliance

I feel that for this many who have followed it have found balance, discovered soul, connectedness to the universe, and the connectedness we have to each other. Not religion, or doctrine. When I look outside I see the art in nature, and everything. With theosophy it helps us to see the art within ourselves, and our lives. Maybe even within others as well.

Reconciliation implies the need to bridge divisive opposites or polarities that possess inherent differences. In the question you pose- you are postulating an inherent separation between science & religion. In the perennial philosophy that Theosophy is a manifestation of, there is no difference between science, religion or philosophy. In the Rig Veda we read, "Truth is one, Sages call it by various names." HPB eloquently stated, "Theosophy is not a religion it is religion." Perhaps the challenge is not to reconcile but to remember the inherent oneness & explore that unity. The moment we begin to separate these ideals, we begin to diminish the truth of them.

How about this?

Theosophy is a secret that many can share
But few will understand

It describes science from a perspective that is unexpected

it connects old and new ideas

Here is a possible example

The last chapter of the New Testament is a description of the origin of light, matter, and life.

The Seals, Trumpets, and Plagues represent the family of particles that create all matter
The two main Beast are the Proton and the Neutron
The smaller third beast that gains power only when another bigger beast is present is the Electron
The Whore is the atom, as in all matter

The 666 is Carbon, the source of organic life, such as human life
6 Protons, 6 Neutrons, and 6 Electrons

There is more to say, but this explains a possible picture

Hey Martin

What's UPT?

Martin, You write

Theosophy IS Religion, so it includes Christianity as well, and remember:
Humanity is Religion of the Gods...

Do you really want theosophy to be a religion? After all, it is up to us.

By the way, UPT was from a song whose lyrics you posted. I think it was by Beyonce. I could be wrong. So what's UP, what's UPT?

Although my knowledge is still humble on Theosophy, this is the angle from which i see Theosophy:
It's a Divine knowledge about the nature of existence, it's beginning, it's path, and it's destiny
It's a system of thought, and a way of living with compassion and love and harmony with one self, others, and the living universe around us.
from here we can say It's the Divine trinity of unity, compassion and freedom.
it's the archaic answers entrusted within the souls of the enlightened, for questions humanity will never stop to ask, and the ignition for even greater questions and greater answers that are yet to come when our evolution moves forward.
Theosophy is the light made for humanity to carry on an uphill path…

All true Toni and more

Theosophy is also a path that connects the various religions in a meaningful way. As such it has the potential to reduce conflict between those who fight because of religion.
It is a way to connect science and theology. In today's world this can mean a lot. If we can prove that theology and science can be connected in a logical and meaningful way we can connect most of humanity.

Nice video Martin, thank you
Janeth & Nabil, thank for your kind comments and additions,
Nabil you have a strong point here about reconciling world religions, and reconciling science and religion. I noticed maybe you have a middle eastern background, so you probably know exactly the practical importance of a Theosophic view for putting an edge to meaningless religious conflicts around the globe, although this goal is always a tough bet. It's up to us eventually.

It is simply theories of philosophy.
