The goal here is to promote a wide range of discussions on various service-related topics. It's good that Kathy's "Free Help Available for Veterans Suffering from Combat Stress" is up on the TOS site, too.
As an aside, the Phoenix Study Center is devoting the entire month of September (our "kickoff" month) to service, and the Theosophical Order of Service. I have been worked with many groups, as a member, a Federation President, and in other capacities. In this experience, the Phoenix group is one of the most deeply involved in the service aspect of Theosophy. It's a tremendous joy and privilege to be a member of that group...even if the meetings are 120 miles away.
