Thanks for posting this Nick. It should be read by all interested in the Seven Rays. Personally, I still lean toward the symbolic nature of many of the numeric "Seven" concepts...

One can take the Seven Rays manifestation either very literally or more symbolically. Personally, I suspect the great truths of spirituality are beyond words, and thus I prefer the latter, more symbolic, approach for most spiritual concepts...
