I decided to start this thread to continue some discussion that arose in another thread, "Alien contact: a form of clairvoyance?."

This thread is meant to explore various questions surrounding the possibility that extraterrestrials may be poking around here on Earth! Any topic even remotely related to that concept is welcome here. Among the ideas that have been opened up in the above-mentioned thread:

- Do ETs visit Earth?
- Could spiritually-advanced ETs from other star systems be communicating with human mediums? Why or why not?
- Do the souls of ETs from elsewhere in the universe incarnate in human bodies? Again, why or why not?
-Assuming ETs exist, why would they choose the ways that they do to interact with us?

Ok, I was considering sharing this link before but decided against it because it IS rather funny, but now I feel I have to. In all seriousness, some of the videos this woman has collected are rather provocative. She claims to have been filming these UFO's for months now, coming and going from a large plot of woods just behind her house. Most of these are filmed with a night vision camera, but there is at least one where she shows the woods during the day - they certainly do appear to be dense forest, yet the most disturbing footage to me is of these bright lights hovering in the woods themselves. Some of the lights coming and going, maybe some are just planes, but maybe not...
Lastly I'll just warn you the woman is pretty much a simpleton and talks and talks while she's shooting this stuff, so it is hard not to laugh. At the very least, you'll be entertained, but I'm curious to hear what you may think of this...

My daughter (who is a lot like me in the way we think and look for things) was fascinated with orbs herself and visited some places like local cemeteries.. Anyway she has some interesting film on these things.. but I was also thinking that with sophisticated cameras we have now a days is it possible the technologies of imaging are also sort of surpassing most of us.. and so when we "see" things via these cameras that we don't really understand. I'm sure you've probably already seen this debunking site:

also there is a marathon of new UFO Hunters on History tomorrow night. I have a sort of love/hate thing about that show... but i intend to watch it. =)

Right.. I usually watch them too! Sometimes I think the government creates more mystery than it intends to by being so inept .. A lot of the scew ups are simply just that.. then of course there are tests of super weapons that are intentionally kept secret.. so between just plain ineptitude and gaffes and secrecy is a large "grey" area..

boy, you said it! I agree completely. It's those few percent though, that keep me intrigued with it all. Mostly all the former military, astronauts, pilots and even Britain's former Minister of Defense - these folks have a lot of credibility, and I'm not sure why they'd risk their reputations coming forward... in any case, I agree, there's not been evidence strong enough to really have a reason to believe in this blindly. Fun to think about, though. I think lots of us "want to believe", like Fox Mulder, lol.

... this is just an unimportant side-note, please humor me. I just have to say that those guys on UFO Hunters are such dorks, lol. I'm watching them now, and they just crack me up. If they were just a bit more skeptical and objective in their investigations, we could take them a little more seriously. It is just too funny! haha.

Yep. I'd call that a real "cowscension" ..

Now if we could just figure out what is the attraction to these poor cows about?

Is it the milk their after? a "milk shake"?

or maybe the Methane?

It's also recently been found that cows generally align with the magnetic poles when they graze.. North-South orientations. So maybe they want to know how the cows do that.

I'd hate to think there could be something more sinister about it!

It is interesting that The Catholic Church " The Vatican", is now having a conference regarding life elsewhere in the universe.
This may be the first step in opening their vault of information regarding the subject.
Or what is called revealing the veil

This is good news. It means that we may soon meet those aliens and perhaps learn a thing or too.

This concept is held quite openly by many Native American tribes--they come right out and say that their traditions were given to them by "Brothers from the sky" and such. Within many of these traditions, it is held that we all come from the stars, which can mean many different things depending on one's interpretation.

If we look deeper into our history, we can easily find proof that we as humans have had a lot of help. "few may say that we were also harmed".
The Pyramids of Egypt and South America are the most obvious examples.
Why would people, royalty or slaves, work so hard and for so long, to create them?
