The death of the famed Michael Jackson has many people starkly aware of their present mortality. Mr. Jackson being a timeless personality in the public eye, many the world over morned his death and gave their condolences to his family, All being done in good faith and not necessarily out of understanding the role death plays in the seam of things. The word itself is misleading to begin with as the connotations connected to it assumes that death is the ultimate end of all life as we know it to be. Death is not the ultimate end to life, consciousness, or spirit. It is nothing more than a transition from one cycle into the next cycle. Life is movement. It is motion. To die is to lack movement, to lack motion. So even though it may appear that the physical and the spiritual bodies die, only the physical cease to lack movement ! ( Cosmological Principle : Energy cannot be created ; nor can it be destroyed ; it can only transform )

Very interesting and I can tell you have studied and pondered this topic for quite some time. Great and I would love to understand more of the Theosophical view. Most of my understanding come from the Ancient Egyptian Mystery System. Now I am currently learning the Theosophical view

“now understand, we all have a living potential Budhha within, Who will, when the time is there, awake and follow the paths of the Universal Guardians of Space, Time and Existance Who rule the Lipika's of every being...”

I agree as I believe we will all evolve to the level of the Universal Guardians of Space, Time and Existence. It just takes some of us longer than others but eventually we all get there.

When we see the death of a public figure like Michael Jackson, it does make us reflect on our own mortality and the transitory nature of life. The way I see it is that Michael Jackson’s short lived human life span is over. However the soul that occupied his temporal body continues and moves on to whatever location that best serves its growth to perfection and freedom from this cycle of birth, physical and emotional suffering, aging, death and re-birth.

I put this reply in Martin's box by mistake. Sorry. When we see the death of a public figure like Michael Jackson, it does make us reflect on our own mortality and the transitory nature of life. >"Life is movement. It is motion"<---Is it fair to assume you are referring to life on the physical plane, George?

>"To die is to lack movement, to lack motion.<---Also on the physical plane, you mean?

>"Energy cannot be created"<---Hum..., I'm not sure about this....Are we not creating energy with our thoughts, for example?

Are we not modifying that energy according to new thoughts and better understanding of things?
