Connection between Consciousness and Higher Intelligence

Does anyone know of studies that explore the connection between mind/consciousness and a higher intelligence?

If not, are there any institutions or fields of study that investigate how the mind can potentially tap into and connect with different forms of life, specifically from a scientific point of view? I seek to explore this in a scientific way that can be presented to and understood by any human being.

All ideas are welcome and appreciated.

This is a very strange and difficult question. First you combine Mind/consciousness, then you assume something you call higher intelligence.
Intelligence is a function of the mind, as in their is no separation. In other words, Mind/consciousness and higher intelligence are the same subject. Which causes me to assume that you mean something particular when you say higher intelligence.
Clarify the question please.

To clarify: How is the human mind connected to sources of consciousness and intelligence that are at a level greater than our own? We can think of consciousness as intentionally ordered information and intelligence as the capacity to reason, plan, solve problems, and learn. I am interested in exploring this from both an objective, scientific perspective and a subjective, experiential point of view. (Feel free to apply your own definition for any of these terms).

I would also like to find any people or organizations that investigate how the human mind can influence the minds of other humans and animals by using directed thought and attention. Appreciate any ideas or leads for exploring this as well.

Furthermore, "higher intelligence," according to the Keys of Enoch, is defined as follows:
Advanced forms of physical and spiritual-physical intelligence which administer to inter-planetary civilizations through the positive Brotherhoods. (KoE p.579)

It then goes on to define "Brotherhoods of Light" as
Advanced spiritual intelligence that can take on physical form and have the responsibility of governing stellar orders with respect to the local hierarchy/federation of the Deity. The Seventy Brotherhoods which
comprise the Great White Brotherhood that have the greater responsibility of
administering the Cosmic Law of YHWH in our Son universe. "Whole Light
Beings" comprise the ranks of the spiritual Brotherhoods preparing the
physical and spiritual civilizations for "the Bride" as the New Jerusalem, a
heavenly city or threshold command in charge of renewing creation. (KoE p.569)

So basically, I want to understand how we, as humans, can communicate with these "Whole Light Beings" who are supposedly preparing our civilization for a renewed creation.

Recent advances in quantum physics parallel advances in the understanding of consciousness. Quantum physics is strange in science because experiments have shown that the physical plane of existence is a manifestation of a deeper plane of probabilities which are manifesting and demanifesting all the time. Scientific studies have shown that the observation of small particles changes the position of those objects in space. Strange, eh? Is consciousness then also a function of a deeper plane of existence where all probabilities exist outside of time and space? Is this the place of higher intelligence, in a different dimension which can only be hinted at and not measured directly? Is this level of consciousness something that can only really be understood from an introspective point of view? Hmmm.

Special book on consciousness, also there are 4 volumes from prof Poortman, but they are too difficult (too detailed)and not on line.That four volumes are to buy through Theosophical publishing house I think.
