Hello,

I'm new to this forum, and I'm seeking for an answer. Maybe, someone can help me with this issue.
I had a dream/astral projection in which I was brutally attacked by a giant and terrible Lycanthrope. He tried to reach my face with his claws, as if he wanted to hit me with his open hand. I backed out and waked up very scared only to find out that my face was cut 4 times, like with a thin razor, and there was blood in each cut, my blood. He hurt me pretty bad at all levels. If I don’t pull away, he would of taken out my eyes. This was 3 years ago and it still hurts. The fear of going to sleep is finally gone.

I have read some theories about this strange phenomenon, but only that. Does anybody have some explanation?

Thanks’ for any suggestion.

P.D. I have studied theosophy, history, philosophy, politics and social studies. I’m a consultant and help people solve problems. This happened while trying to help a person with very deep spiritual issues. He asked for help in the dream, and I was attacked.

Hello,
I don't know if i'll be way out of the subject here, but it looks like the right thread to share similar studies and experiences of some friends.

Since the astral body is the model body for the physical one, whatever happens for the astral one affects our physical constitution (and vice versa). But since our astral double is always attached to our physical one and retracted in our own material plane, it's not affected by what happens on the astral plane.
Eearly Theosophists and other occult scientists mention that the projection to the astral plane is possible by three means:
- it's automatic while sleeping
- projecting our astral body consciously via a very difficult and dangerous process.
- It's also said that a very developed being is able to carry other astral bodies during his projection.

However, this plane is a subjective one, it's deeply affected by our thoughts and those of others, so the experience can be very different for each person. So it seems, if you really had some kind of astral projection, you went directly to the subjective plane of your friend.

What i'm trying to say is that everyone who studied or had an astral projection experience says that it's very dangerous because the entities you meet are generally aggressive and can inflict damage to you astral body. But since it's a subjective plane, a high ability of concentration is crucial in any confrontation (it’s said for example that you can scare off or even fight an entity by concentrating on the existence of a stick or a sword in your hand, i don know :).

Modern theosophic writings clear that astral entities are attracted and can associate themselves with living persons according to the desires and aspirations and thoughts of the latter. So if this reasoning is right, may be it can explain why your friend's astral entourage is associated with that entity?

I don't know if i wrote some of weird stuff here, i tend to write a lot of weird mix-ups lately :)
but i hope this was helpful anyway

Psychic Self-Defense: A Study in Occult Pathology and Criminality, by Dion Fortune she wrote (at page 24) "I myself once had an exceedingly nasty experience in which I formulated a were-wolf accidentally. Unpleasant as the incident was, I think it may be just as well to give it publicity, for it shows what may happen when an insufficiently disciplined and purified nature is handling occult forces. I had received serious injury from someone who, at considerable cost to myself, I had disinterestedly helped, and I was sorely tempted to retaliate. Lying on my bed resting one afternoon, I was brooding over my resentment, and while so brooding, drifted towards the borders of sleep. There came to my mind the thought of casting off all restraints and going berserk. The ancient Nordic myths rose before me, and I thought of Fenris, the Wolf-horror of the North. Immediately I felt a curious drawing-out sensation from my solar plexus, and there materialised beside me on the bed a large wolf. It was a well-materialised ectoplasmic form. Like Z., it was grey and colourless, and like him, it had weight. I could distinctly feel its back pressing against me as it lay beside me on the bed as a large dog might. I knew nothing about the art of making elementals at that time, but had accidentally stumbled upon the right method - the brooding highly charged with emotion, the invocation of the appropriate natural force, and the condition between
sleeping and waking in which the etheric double readily extrudes. I was horrified at what I had done, and knew I was in a tight corner and that everything depended upon my keeping my head. I had had enough experience of practical occultism to know that the thing I had called into visible manifestation could be controlled by my will provided I did not panic; but that if I lost my nerve and it got the upper hand, I had a Frankenstein monster to cope with. ... I was far from happy, however, for I had a feeling that this was not the end of it, and my feeling was confirmed when
next morning another member of my household reported that her sleep had been disturbed by dreams of wolves, and she had awakened in the night to see the eyes of a wild animal shining in the darkness in the corner of her room."
I suggest to you that you get the book and read it for it has a lot of useful information.
