This program has been instramental in the J-curve of events that has become my paradigm shift. It has factored in my path to theosophy. Thanks for posting this as I've been busy; I might have missed it.

Hi everybody!

I listened to the program on the radio last night. I am a dedicated student of The Secret Doctrine, and it was amazing to hear it being discussed on a radio broadcast in my own town! It usually takes a great deal of effort to find, download, and listen to recordings of people talking about Theosophy, so hearing it on the radio effortlessly was quite a surprise.

Did you record it, by any chance, Nick?

Unfortunately, I did not. I had thought about it, but I do not have a tape recorder ready to go. Also, the show ran for more than one hour -- a big surprise for me. I might have run out of blank tapes!

Nick, there are a couple of ways to get a recording, and as the host was very fair, it would be a good one to have; perhaps call it HPB 101. Many 'coast listeners, eg myself, subscribe to extra features that allow archive downloads. You may know of someone who checks into the site often and can get a recording. If not, there is a way I may help. Email me and I'll give an idea. The downloads skip the commercials & news segments, so time can be cut from the three hour interview.

Hello Wilfred, may I ask.., did you record it, by any chance?

Wilfred,

Thanks for the idea, but I am just too doggone busy right now to work on getting that download. The broadcast was wonderful, and very fair to HPB and Blavatsky, but was more of an introduction for people who do not know a lot about Theosophy. So for me, it is not imperative that I maintain a copy on file for myself. Is there anyone out there who would like a copy of the show, so that perhaps Wilfred could help them get a copy? It would be good for one of us to keep a copy, so that we can have it for people who are showing an interest in Theosophy.

I may be interested in getting a copy in the future, but things are just too busy for me to work on getting a copy of the radio broadcast right now.

I was a bit disappointed by the way Ian led Gnomes around. When Ian questioned the phenomenon that H.P.B caused to manifest (tea cup, rose petals) Gnomes said he didn't believe it and explained it away as a parlor trick of sorts. He spoke about H.P.B. as the Historian he is, but sounded too politically correct, apologetic when Ian tried to link H.P.B to the Nazi's . He talked about the personalities of leading members but explained very little of what our "Doctrine" teaches. Over all He wasn't fiery and inspired but quiet, soft and reserved. In these transitional times when we reach out to enlighten the Masses we should send our "Lions" not our Lambs.

If he did so, he joined the gang of the greatest enemies of Blavatsky like Soloviev, Coulombs, etc. He shouldn't be called a lamb, except that in the sense in which Blavatsky called Hodgeson an Australian lamb. It's tragic that the people of that sort represent the Theosophical Society on radio.

G.Hodgeson one of our gifted Theosophical Clairvoyants who shared with us a peek beyond the Veil and added to our "Doctrine" by sharing through his writings the glimpse he witnessed of the Kingdom of the Gods was one of our "Lions." M. Gnomes is a Historical Biographer who writes and sells books about the Society and it's members. During the interview when Gnomes gave credit to H.P.B.for starting the new age. Ian agreed and asked when a movie would be made for such an amazing Women. He started to name all the famous Female Actresses who could play the part. Gnomes said if he could have made the Movie he would have cast "Jackie Gleason with a wig on" to play H.P.B.. I felt that was very disrespectful to the Woman who gave to the West the Greatest literary work since the Bible. They also joked and ridiculed H.P.B. in a picture next to M. and K.H. saying it wasn't real and looked like a bad version of a doctored photo. This is serious work we do and should not be trifled with. Next time we should send someone more serious, perhaps from the E.S.. What do you think?

No, it was Hodson who lived in 20th century. Hodgeson, in 19th, was the investigator who declared HPB the world greatest humbug. And now Gnomes joins him.
