Here is 2 poems of mine, I consider both to be spiritual, but in "Shorline" it can have many different meanings.

Shoreline: by James

I gaze at the stars, I search the signs, The constellations
My mind drifts like a canoe at he middle of a sea
The water seems overbearing at first, but then
The world below it seems to calm
letting the canoe drift peacefully as I watch
That world, and the one above me

Days I imagine a figure walking the shoreline at night
and as she gazes at the big bright full moon
She walks towards the water but before she touches it
She drifts off into the beautiful night sky

Ravens stand: by James

I sit in wait observing on my ravens stand
so dark is the nightmares of all the sleeping land

I await the destruction of material ways
the unstoppable abrupt flames of an end be fanned

I fly over your minds with graceful patience
You want to be awakened, my stance is a helping hand

Till then I will sit on my ravens stand noting
So dark is the nightmares of all the sleeping land

Great poem, I can relate. That's cool how you put the picture to poem.

Here is another of mine.

Sand castle game - James

Not that I know anyone who knows
But I'm sighing to let out a little cry
But worry not I've flew out other holes
Not that anyone I know has seen me fly

Others around me step up to the money plate
I'm stepping up to a whole other one
No longer can another touch me with hate
I'm still sighing even though I know we already won

Please worry not too much for me
I'll sit back on heaps of love
I'll find a inevitable way to be
Not that anyone I know will ever see me fly
(sigh)....
I stopped trying to set myself up for a winning hand
I never knew I could care so much about everyone
Although I know we once played together in the sand
Building worlds from our heart, anything under the sun

We had so much fun
We were laughing with our awesome castles
Now it's not so much fun
What did we do with that castle

Not that I want to bother you so much
But now I want to kiss and make up
I want to watch the beach wash away our castle
And go to our home in the sky

Very nice one indeed

Blessed my life is
Fruit fills the glass bowl
birds singing young and old
rain is as always soothing

Though the path can be harsh
in those times I persevere
When it gets more severe
my loved ones are always there

Blessed my life is
for my family
and friends
In this moment in time
are true Godsends

I like how you can put pictures to your poems
Ok here's another on the spot. lol bare with the structural difficulties. :)

Eternal Song:

Sifting through the ages
I turn the pages setting on
the rising sun
at night I hear the singing
stars whispering quite so
subtly
My fascination never dies
My heart beat never lies
I glimmer
I shine
Like the stars, and the sun
I sing an eternal song

When the new dawn arises
The moon fades fast bringing
the new day
Seeing the beautiful world around me
I write this song in the form
of poetry
When the sun sets
I continue singing
In dreams
In soul
and just like the universe
I sing an eternal song

I wouldn't mind. :) the more the better right?

Hmm... I just wrote this. That's what I get for spacing. Write a poem that's deep.

Calling

Go

now I may trepidate to live my life
Not willing to repeat the past, the cost
but I know your driving on your loss
I'm calling my macrocosmic home of organic avionics
But this is your oblivion set in void hydraulics
I'm still seeking inside the universe within
Whilst home is where I lay my heart to mend

and I may be dying
but that is my flesh peeling
and I may be crying
but that's my eyes pleading
and I may be flying
but what's this future you are seeding?
please stop lying
it's never your mind that you are feeding

The pure undying love
sparks the blinding light
From above
Overcome darkness of the night
From below
When I take this endless flight
I still hesitantly appear but
physical existence is out of sight

I tried so hard in any way
I have so much compassion
but I'm never able to display
my undying spiritual passion
Even in solid Utopian gray
you give a negative reaction

Lets not take this drive
To the battle zone
Instead lets take it not alone
The pendulum swings
as we watch a falling modern Rome
but within our being
The seeds of love are sewn

Quite a lovely thread.. Perhaps there should be a devoted poetry section in the forums?

Here's an image for your "Ravens Stand" ;-)

Your poetry is a conflicting jumble of emotions

At times you are at peace, sure of your place in the world, powered by love.
At other times, you seem to be drifting, like a broken branch floating upon the mighty waves of a far away ocean, during the darkest of the nights.
